–Andras in his wolf form, A Court of Thorns and Roses
In his wolf form, Andras has yellow fangs and eyes, with a charcoal-black coat. He is larger than most regular wolves. While, his human form has not been shown as he was killed early on in A Court of Thorns and Roses. However, it can be assumed that he wore a mask because of the effects of The Blight on the Spring Court.
Tamlin sent Andras in his wolf form across The Wall and into the forest in Feyre's Village. To break the curse of The Blight, Amarantha specified that Tamlin would need to find a human girl who was willing to marry him. However, this girl must also have a hatred for Faeries and must be willing to kill one unprovoked. Furthermore, the faerie that had to die also must be a member of the Spring Court.
In the hope that The Blight and Amarantha could be stopped, Andras was sent over The Wall as a sacrifice. At the beginning of A Court of Thorns and Roses, Feyre hunts in the forests of her village so she could gain food for her family. While, Feyre attempts to kill the deer, Andras watches her. Once Feyre notices him, she suspects him of being a faerie because of his large size. Out of desperation to put food on the table and her hatred for faerie-kind, Feyre kills him with an arrow through his eye. Understanding that he had to be killed for a good cause, Andras stares at Feyre and does not attempt to flee from his death.
After killing him, she took the wolf's skin and sold it to a mercenary at her village.
- The name, Andras is a welsh variant of Andreas. In welsh, the name means "Grace" while in greek it means "Man, warrior".
