Ianthe's mother is the wife of the captain of the Spring Court's forces. She lived in Vallahan for a time before moving back to the Spring Court.
History
During the events in Under the Mountain, Ianthe's mother moved to Vallahan with her three daughters and her husband. Her husband has sensed the trouble in Prythian and moved immediately.
Ianthe's mother and her family returned to Prythian after fifty years. Amarantha had died and was no longer in control of Prythian. When they returned, their former ally, Tamlin, named her husband as captain of the Spring Court armies.
