Isaac Hale was Feyre's previous romantic relationship before she was involved with faeries. Feyre developed a sexual relationship, that consisted of moments in a barn.

Feyre comments that Isaac's body was built between being a boy and a man. She said he is handsome.

History

Early Life

Isaac and Feyre first met when they were walking down the main road together where they discussed the eggs that Isaac was bringing to the market. They enjoyed talking together and their relationship later became more sexual with both meeting each other at the barn.

A Court of Thorns and Roses

A rumor later passed through Feyre's village that Isaac was going to marry a Greenfield village girl. Feyre comments that Isaac had previously ranted about it last time they met. It is unknown if the rumor is true.

Later in A Court of Thorns and Roses, Feyre meets Isaac when she visits the village. Isaac is shown to have a wife who both seem to be happy with each other. Isaac nods his head in greeting but Feyre noted that they have moved on from their previous relationships.

• Isaac Hale's name is a combination of two of Sarah J. Maas' favourite characters from Teen Wolf: Isaac Lahey and Derek Hale.
